I’m a systems software engineer at Diamond Light Source supporting beamline control systems based at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire.

I worked as a research software engineer at King’s College London developing a web-based Education Platform for teaching model driven engineering as part of the MDENet project.

I completed my PhD at the University of York as a member of the RoboStar* centre of excellence. My work looked at software architectures of robotic systems and how architectural patterns can be used in behavioural models for verification of a system’s software.

My previous experience includes developing embedded systems for safety applications that had to comply with EN 61508, and working to ISO 13485 quality management standard for medical devices.
